David Brown has spent a lifetime in the world of dance and movement therapy. After years as a principal dancer in the Martha graham Company, he co-founded the Monte/Brown Dance Company. David has performed and taught all over the world. He has a studio in his home in Hudson since 2003.
The principles of the studio are based on pilates/gyrotonic, yoga/tai chi. They provide a platform for authentic change in how we live, and how we use our bodies.
The method is original and intensive. It requires concentration and commitment. the result is deep internal strenght, balance, stability, and increased range of movement and endurance.

Erika Laurion is a nutritionist and has specialized in low income and under served population. She works with as a nutritional consultant for group homes of adults with disabilities. Erika also does hands-on nutrition where she teaches how to cook while giving nutrition advices. She provides fast, simple and healthy recipes that correspond to lifestyle, give strategies for eating well in the most challenging situations and evaluate health and goals to develop new eating habits to stay on a healthy track, no matter how busy and stressful life is. Erika received her Masters from the Institute of Human Nutrition of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is board certified and licensed in NYS.
Lambchop is a Devon Rex cat. She is hypoallergenic because her fur is really not fur but hair and she looks like a little lamb. Lambchop is not always at the BNB, but she comes to visit occasionally. Watch out because she will charm you. Some calls her Wumpoo and others Scrubbly.
